Guarding against a link being lost
|
|

MyeRecipesApp.com has
no control over the links found in this App so we suggest that if you have
any absolute favourite recipes you use the Print function on the respective
recipe page to save that recipe as a PDF document (or to print it out). The PDF file will save onto your
device. As a further protection you
might like to set up a Cloud account (there are many free services) and save
to there. You can then access your saved recipes from any device.

Each recipe must have
a unique name. If the given name is
identical to another (you will be warned when you make a new entry), enter a
number at the end.

About My eRecipes App
|
|

The best way to think
of the My eRecipes App is as a searchable filing system for hyperlinks to
access web-based recipes and other cooking and feed related information.
While there are some links included, the major feature of this App is the
ability for the user to build up and save their own links to both recipe
sites and specific recipes. This all means that MyeRecipesApp.com has no
control over either the contents or availability of any of the linked
websites. This also means that while the App itself is resident on a secure
site, no such guarantee can be made about the sites to which links are
provided.
The App has three sections: Cooking Tips and Measures; Recipe Sites where
additional sites can be added; and a searchable (by ingredient and food type)
eRecipes section where new links can be added.
The Recipe sites section provides indexed links to a number of recipe sites
that together give excess to well over a million recipes. This section allows a registered user to
add a further twenty such links. It
may also have a special section provided by the "Favourtie cause"
partner through whom you purchased the App.
The second section is dedicated to a database of links that can be created
by the registered user. This allows the user to add up to 150 recipes that
can subsequently be accessed by way of drop-down menus by name, occasion,
main ingredient or whether the user has rated it or not.

Why is no App store involved?
|

Unlike many of the
other "native" Apps available from App Stores, this App is
web-based and accessible using any device running a browser (eg Safari,
Firefox, Chrome, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge). The device must have JavaScript enabled.

About this App
|

This is a Web-based
App and can be viewed on any device with browser with JavaScript enabled
(which will be most modern browsers). Access to the App using the login code
provided allows an infinite number of simultaneous users. However before
sharing your "secret key" (ie login code) you need to be mindful of
the fact that all your inputted data can be erased or altered by anyone with
access to YOUR version of MyeRecipesApp!
Because we know that there will be recipes and cullinary experiences that
users want to share, we are developing a specific "sharing" App
that will be accessible from the front page for a registered user.

Setting up your personalised login
|
|
|
| |
There are two steps
to creating a Login. When you have paid, you will be sent a temporary login
to give you access to the setup page that will be valid for a limited
time.
There are two security components for accessing the App. The first is the 8
digit login code. [This has got a one in 27 (UK ie 12 zeros) billion chance
of being duplicated, (the number of seconds in more than
847,000 years!). The second is a check code
relating to your name. Both have to be
exact for the App to work properly ie not be in Demo mode.

The various

circle to the right of the item you want to use).

If you have websites
that you want to be able to revisit using any device, this is where you can
save up to 10 named links. To access
subsequently, there is a Alphabetical index.
To the left of the naming cell is a button showing
"Setup". This changes to
"Visit" when the URL has been entered into the appropriate cell.

The selection of the
device being used is solely to determine the size of any pictures (or there
is a "No Pics" option). In
the options, "Tablet" also means and Laptop, PC or any other larger
device with running a browser.
